From April 22 to 23, the fifth MPAcc Student Case Competition in Hubei Province was successfully held in Yangguang Campus of Wuhan Textile University. This competition is sponsored by Hubei Province MPAcc Alliance, undertaken by Wuhan Textile University, and co-organized by Wuhan CAITONG Education Technology Co., Ltd. Since the beginning of competition in December 2022, it has lasted for 5 months and received case reports from total 34 participating teams of 18 MPAcc training units in Hubei Province. The organizing committee of competition selected 22 participating teams to advance to the second round, and after a duel, 12 participating teams were determined to advance to the final.
On April 22, opening ceremony of the competition was successfully held in T201 Lecture hall, Chongzhi Building, Wuhan Textile University. Feng Jun, Vice President of Wuhan Textile University, Zhang Jun, Deputy Director of the Degree and Postgraduate Department of Hubei Provincial Department of Education, Guo Yujie, Deputy Director of the Accounting Department of Hubei Provincial Department of Finance, Huang Wei, Secretary General of Hubei Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Zhang Dunli, Chairman of the Professional Degree Alliance of Master of Accounting in Hubei Province, Dean of the Accounting School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, doctoral supervisor, etc. attended the opening ceremony, and the Secretary General of the National Accounting Professional Postgraduate Education Steering Committee Zhi Xiaoqiang, Distinguished Scholar and Distinguished Professor of Renmin University of China, and Doctoral Supervisor, simultaneously attended online, with expert evaluation from industry elites from finance, accounting, communication, and other units, as well as guidance teachers and participants. The opening ceremony was presided over by Du Guoliang, secretary of Accounting School of Wuhan Textile University.
Feng Jun, on behalf of Wuhan Textile University, extended a sincere welcome to the guests. Feng Jun introduced the development situation, achievements, and disciplinary construction achievements of school. Huang Wei affirmed the hosting of this competition and expressed gratitude to the experts who have long supported the Institute of CPA. He said that at the critical moment of enabling the Digital transformation of the accounting industry, the holding of this contest is of great significance to highlight the characteristics of MPAcc colleges' application-oriented talent training. CPA, as the maintainers of the order of market economy entities, are an indispensable and important component. He looks forward to young students visiting accounting firms on site and jointly exploring industry development.
Zhang Dunli reviewed the development process of Hubei Province MPAcc Alliance. He introduced the developing about all previous MPAcc student case contests and organization of this contest. He pointed out that the contest is an important channel for extensive exchanges and in-depth cooperation among colleges and universities, and also a broad stage for accounting students to show their own style and highlight their youthful vitality. He hopes universities will take this competition as an opportunity to implement the development concept of "innovation, collaboration, and win-win", further strengthen academic and cultural exchanges, and create a good atmosphere for talent cultivation.
Zhi Xiaoqiang connects remotely and wishes the competition a complete success. He pointed out that the case competition can well meet the needs of local economic development, and the chain drive national economic growth. After intense semi-finals competition, 12 teams eventually advanced to the final. In the final on April 23rd, each team showed their own style, and the atmosphere at competition was tense and intense.
The team, ChaoNengLiuZhan, from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and the team ShenCangBlue of Hubei University of Economics won the grand prize. The team XingQiuKuangHuan, from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, YouYouLuMing team, from Wuhan University of Technology, the team, HuiBuHuiDouDui, from Wuhan Textile University, and the team, ChaoYueMengXiang, from Wuhan University win the first prize. Six teams, including the ShaoNianXianFeng Team of Wuhan Textile University and the JueBuTangPing Team of China Three Gorges University, won the second prize. 11 teams, including Hongyan team of Hubei University and the team, LaoLaoDuanZhuFanWan, from Hubei University of Technology , won the third prize. 11 teams, including the team, ZuiHaoDeWoMen, of Hubei University and the team ChengFengPoLang of Hubei University of Technology, won the award of excellence. The team, XingQiuKuangHuan, of Huazhong University of Science and Technology won the "Best Popularity Award".
22 teachers, including Wang Jiaxin of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Tang Yan, Zheng Shanshan and Huang Yixiong of Hubei University of Economics, Du Guoliang, Shi Meiyilan, Wang Zaifei and Hu Xinghui of Wuhan Textile University, won the award of excellent instructor.
Du Binghang from Hubei University of Economics, Shen Wenjun and Hu Huiying from Wuhan Textile University and Fang Hua from Wuhan University won the "Best Performance Award".
The School of Accountancy of Wuhan Textile University and Wuhan CAITONG Education Technology Co., Ltd. won the "Outstanding Contribution Award". The School of Economics and Management of Hubei Minzu University was awarded the "Best Organization Award".
On April 23rd, the competition successfully concluded. The closing ceremony was presided over by Zhao Libin, Dean of the Accountancy School of Wuhan Textile University. Relevant leaders and final judges of the Hubei Province MPAcc Alliance presented awards and took group photos for the award-winning units, players and instructors.

It is reported that the Hubei Province MPAcc Student Case Competition is a student competition initiated by the Hubei Province MPAcc Alliance and jointly participated by various MPAcc training units in Hubei Province, based on the principles of "equal cooperation, mutual benefit, and fairness and openness".
